STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-3830 Access Lists
SIP Proxy Server Access Control directive in the configuration file shall
determine access to the server. Access can be granted or denied based on a
variety of criteria.
The Allow and Deny directives in the SIP Proxy Server configuration file shall
allow or deny access to the server based on host name or host address of
the client.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-3850 The SatLife System shall provide SIP/H.323 proxies for SIP/H.323
Internetworking.
While each call control and signaling protocol offers advantages and
disadvantages within different segments of a carrier network, system should
provide the possibility for service providers to use H.323 and SIP in the
same network. SatLife must address coexistence and interoperability issues
for networks optimization and to have the flexibly to meet divergent customer
needs, based on industry standards and offer the highest level of
interoperability as well as broad options for interconnection.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-3860 The system shall provide architectural and protocol flexibility, with support for
H.323 and SIP. H.323 and SIP are both used today for call control and
signaling service provider packet telephony network rollouts.
This flexibility allows customers to deploy SIP networks on proven packet
telephony infrastructures, while still maintaining core H.323 functionality
within their networks. With the ability to support the connection of customers
and carriers using either protocol, service providers can offer a variety of
application hosting and sharing services, and be more aggressive in pursuing
wholesale opportunities via new services.
This implies that the system shall have the ability to originate and terminate
H.323 and SIP calls on the same voice gateway on a dial-peer basis.
Within system architecture elements, gateways shall provide support for
coexistence of SIP and H.323 calls.
