STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0250 The RCST shall create the ART with the following entries:

 MAC@ of a host outside or inside its LAN segment.

 MAC@ of the RCST connected to this host (instead of an IP address

typical of an ARP table).

 Type (dynamic or static). Note that this type has nothing to do with the

bridging mode selected.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0260 The dynamic entries of the ART shall be deleted after a configurable timeout

value without activity, this means that no ethernet message is seen in the

LAN or in the air segment containing that MAC@ in the source field (a default

value could be defined).

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0270 The RCST on bridge mode shall support up to 200 entries in its ART (host

MAC@- RCST MAC@).

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0280 Entries of the ART table could be added and deleted manually by local or

remote intervention.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0290 The number of RCSTs interconnected shall be limited because the terminals

have a limitation of 64 PIDs of simultaneous decoding. Taking into account

that 12 are for signaling there are 52 left. We need to decode 2 PIDs per

RCST: one for the reception of the broadcast and one for the unicast

connection (if only one priority is considered) so a maximum of 26 RCST can

belong to the same bridged VSN.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0300 If more priorities are needed the RCST shall be provisionned with a

connection per priority. This will limit the maximum number of RCST in the

VSN: number of RCSTs = Round down [52 /(number of priorities +1)]

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0310 The RCST on bridge mode shall support a Broadcast PID - RCST MAC@

table of (Round down [52 /(number of priorities +1)]) entries.

STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0320 RCSTs on bridge mode shall support a L2-Active Connection table, with a

maximum of 64 entries to keep the information regarding L2 connections for

broadcast and unicast ethernet data.

connection to transmit the data.
